Sessional Nurse

Job sumary

To efficiently manage the Health Centre on a relief basis at a food processing facility, to assist in minimizing occupational health problems, safety hazards and promoting wellness and good housekeeping.

Requirements

• Advanced nursing education from the University of the West Indies or equivalent institution
• At least five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse, with knowledge of various diseases, family planning and counselling skills
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suites
• Experience in conducting training sessions
• Training in critical care or Emergency Management would be a distinct advantage
• Basic Life Support training, as well as experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset
• A valid Food Handlers Permit
• Ability to work on week days (Monday - Friday)
• A reliable motor vehicle
